A Collection of common questions and answers.
I take a friendly and unobtrusive approach, blending into the background to capture the natural emotion and special moments of your wedding day. I also combine many styles of photography such as Fashion photography, Landscape photography, documentary, candid or journalism to telling the best story of your wedding into the images.
Truly I absolutely understand wanting to find pricing information without having to ask. My Rates and Packages aren’t listed for public viewing on my site for a variety of reasons. Rates and Packages are vary by location and destination weddings are different as well. I also create custom packages for many couples, simply drop me an email and telling me about your wedding. Yes, I’ve been doing wedding cinematography since 2008. I’d developed and transformed the way of story-telling from cinematography to photography, from moving to still. You can visit my wedding video website here. There are tons of wedding video you can enjoy.
If you are getting married in Thailand, chances are that I have come across your venue in the past 10 years, especially beach wedding in southern Thailand such as Koh Samui, Phuket, Phang-nga, Krabi. I also shot the wedding in Vietnam, Singapore and across Asia. However, I love shooting at new venues and seeing a new location with fresh eyes. I would also be happy to visit your location with you prior to the wedding day, or if your wedding is out of town, I will arrive early the day before to scout it and to make sure I know where the best spots to shoot are!
YES, I do have a second shooter in time I needed. Normally I’m shooting a wedding as a solo photographer if your wedding scale less than 40 guests. In a wedding might have various events, a lot of guests, or other things that would benefit from a 2nd photographer. For that reason, I will have more confidence to move around create the different shots and angles. But those tradition shots have covered by my second shooter. If you have guests over 65 persons, I would suggest you to get 2nd shooter. For more information, please contact me.
Yes, Every image that you receive has been careful hand-edited by me.
Yes, I love to travel and will gladly travel for your wedding. I’m based in Bangkok and regularly photograph all throughout Thailand and South East Asia. I’m also available (and love) to travel internationally.
Reach me via my contact form along with your wedding date and venue. Pick your desire package. I will respond by email as soon as possible. Once I’m final confirmed, I require 50% down along with the service agreement to reserve your date. Once that’s done, your date is officially booked, and I’ll start making my travel and coverage plans. The final 50% is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
How can we pay?
I accept bank transfer or Paypal. Couples cover the transaction fees.
Then what happens next?
Once you’ve booked your photography service with me. I’m available to you anytime to help answer other questions you may have about the rest of your wedding planning. Please keep me update and let me know who is your wedding planner, so I can connect with them directly. It’s great for me to get a copy of the runsheet when we’re about 2 weeks away from the wedding. I’m more than happy to meet you both in person. We will set the meeting date before the wedding, so you can get to know your future photographer. I also do Skype meeting.
I always arrive at least a day or earlier before the wedding to have a meeting with you before the wedding day and take a chance to scout the location and make sure I know where the best spots to shoot are!
Sometimes rain happens but it won’t mean you end up with disappointing photographs. I know it hard to accept the rain on the beach wedding day. I know you expected the sun shining. But trust me no matter what happens on your big day. It’s a real thing going to all of you and your guests. If you can’t beat it just join it 🙂 I’ve shot in all sorts of weather, rain, snow and high winds. There is always somewhere beautiful when the happiness of 2 people in those images. We can shoot indoors as well or we can take a walk with an umbrella, why not?
Absolutely, I love to tell the story by starting from both bride and groom are getting ready, the moments of them thinking about their wedding vows, friends and families around them, detail shots of wedding rings, shoes, flowers and everything leading up to and away from this moment.
Shooting after the formal family photo, depending on the time, could allow you to take advantage of the sun setting and it’s softer light while all the guests mingle on the beach or lawn. It would take around 20-40 minutes for portraits and I always include your wedding party for the part of it.
That’s the fun part. I will right there camouflage into the crowd documenting all the madness on the dance floor.
Generally, online SNEAK PEEK gallery will be posted within 1-2 weeks. From here, you and your guests can view and share this gallery. All of your wedding photos will be ready within 4-8 weeks.
The number of photographs taken depend on many things – number of guests, hours of coverage or type of events. I take unlimited shutters in a day. My average for 8 hours is around 650 – 800 best selected images that you would get.
A lot of people ask for RAW files because they think it’s a higher quality file; the truth is that a RAW file is actually an unfinished product. It’s not directly usable – it needs to be edited. How a photographer edits a photo is a part of their artistic identity. When you hire a photographer to capture you’re day, you’re choosing them because you like how they capture the images and how the final product looks – I use the RAW files to create the finished product for you and that is what we sell: the finished product.
Raw files or unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase. I provide the selected, edited high resolution digital files which allow you to create prints at home, or at your local digital print services.
Copyright is something that I’ve been asked about often. I include a “copyright release” in my contracts, which means a release for you to have your images printed by yourself, or any digital print lab you choose. Copyright simply means that I am the creator of the images. Copyright transfers are not possible, but you obtain full license release and the ability to print and share your images as much as you’d like for personal use only. I do retain the copyright to the images and right to use them for promotional purposes, professional review, competition, my blog posts, my portfolio and so on.
