Have you shot at our location before?

If you are getting married in Thailand, chances are that I have come across your venue in the past 10 years, especially beach wedding in southern Thailand such as Koh Samui, Phuket, Phang-nga, Krabi. I also shot the wedding in Vietnam, Singapore and across Asia. However, I love shooting at new venues and seeing a new location with fresh eyes. I would also be happy to visit your location with you prior to the wedding day, or if your wedding is out of town, I will arrive early the day before to scout it and to make sure I know where the best spots to shoot are!

Do you work with a second photographer?

YES, I do have a second shooter in time I needed. Normally I’m shooting a wedding as a solo photographer if your wedding scale less than 40 guests. In a wedding might have various events, a lot of guests, or other things that would benefit from a 2nd photographer. For that reason, I will have more confidence to move around create the different shots and angles. But those tradition shots have covered by my second shooter. If you have guests over 65 persons, I would suggest you to get 2nd shooter. For more information, please contact me.

Do you edit all of our photographs?

Yes, Every image that you receive has been careful hand-edited by me.

Do you travel abroad?

Yes, I love to travel and will gladly travel for your wedding. I’m based in Bangkok and regularly photograph all throughout Thailand and South East Asia. I’m also available (and love) to travel internationally.

What if it rains?

Sometimes rain happens but it won’t mean you end up with disappointing photographs. I know it hard to accept the rain on the beach wedding day. I know you expected the sun shining. But trust me no matter what happens on your big day. It’s a real thing going to all of you and your guests. If you can’t beat it just join it 🙂 I’ve shot in all sorts of weather, rain, snow and high winds. There is always somewhere beautiful when the happiness of 2 people in those images. We can shoot indoors as well or we can take a walk with an umbrella, why not?

Do you take getting-ready shots?

Absolutely, I love to tell the story by starting from both bride and groom are getting ready, the moments of them thinking about their wedding vows, friends and families around them, detail shots of wedding rings, shoes, flowers and everything leading up to and away from this moment.

When should we do the wedding portraits ?

Shooting after the formal family photo, depending on the time, could allow you to take advantage of the sun setting and it’s softer light while all the guests mingle on the beach or lawn. It would take around 20-40 minutes for portraits and I always include your wedding party for the part of it.

Do you take dance shots ?

That’s the fun part. I will right there camouflage into the crowd documenting all the madness on the dance floor.

When will I get to see my wedding photos?

Generally, online SNEAK PEEK gallery will be posted within 1-2 weeks. From here, you and your guests can view and share this gallery. All of your wedding photos will be ready within 4-8 weeks.

How many pictures will we receive?

The number of photographs taken depend on many things – number of guests, hours of coverage or type of events. I take unlimited shutters in a day. My average for 8 hours is around 650 – 800 best selected images that you would get.

Do we get the RAW files?

A lot of people ask for RAW files because they think it’s a higher quality file; the truth is that a RAW file is actually an unfinished product.  It’s not directly usable – it needs to be edited.  How a photographer edits a photo is a part of their artistic identity.  When you hire a photographer to capture you’re day, you’re choosing them because you like how they capture the images and how the final product looks – I use the RAW files to create the finished product for you and that is what we sell: the finished product.

Raw files or unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase. I provide the selected, edited high resolution digital files which allow you to create prints at home, or at your local digital print services.

Do we get the copyright of the images?

Copyright is something that I’ve been asked about often. I include a “copyright release” in my contracts, which means a release for you to have your images printed by yourself, or any digital print lab you choose. Copyright simply means that I am the creator of the images. Copyright transfers are not possible, but you obtain full license release and the ability to print and share your images as much as you’d like for personal use only. I do retain the copyright to the images and right to use them for promotional purposes, professional review, competition, my blog posts, my portfolio and so on.
